Communications:
We at Foster Wellness hold your optimum health as our top priority. Please let your practitioner know if you have any questions related to your treatment and how your main concerns will be addressed. Chinese medicine operates within a different paradigm than traditional Western approaches and your practitioner will explain the herbal and acupuncture methods of treatment to whatever level you find necessary. Communication is key to meeting your health needs.
Scents:
Foster Wellness is a scent-free clinic. Perfumes, scented lotions, essential oils, and heavy deodorants have staying-power and can linger long after your visit. As many clients and staff are sensitive to these scents (causing various reactions including light-headedness and headaches), please do not apply these products prior to your visit.
Cleanliness:
All linens are changed between every client. The room, including door handles, table, chairs, etc. are all sanitized between each patient with a bleach solution. For more information on our cleaning practices, including our COVID-prevention process flow, please contact us directly.
Privacy Practices:
Foster Wellness takes your personal and medical privacy very seriously, as documented in our Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice is included with all intake forms and is also available as a separate document by clicking here.
Cancellations:
Your appointment is time specifically set aside for you to address your specific personal health concerns and goals. Please let the clinic know as far in advance as possible if you need to change your appointment or will be sending someone in your place. While every effort will be made to accommodate last minute changes, cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a fee equivalent to the full billed rate for your session which cannot be billed to your insurance provider.
