About Kate Sisson
Kate joined Foster Wellness as the clinic and office assistant in September 2013. She received a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine (SIOM) in 2014, Before studying East Asian medicine, she spent two years studying naturopathy at Bastyr University. She has been a dedicated yogini since 2001, was also a principal dancer in the Awalim Tribal Bellydance company from 2006-2009, and served as an assistant aerial teacher and therapist's assistant at the Circus Arts Institute 2008-2009.
Her therapeutic interests include physical/movement medicine, bodywork, East Asian sports medicine, the pharmacology of Chinese herbs and the integration of eastern and western pharmaceuticals in patient care.
